Caring for Our Coventry First Responders
Each month, a team from our church visits our local first responders—the Coventry Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department—to offer encouragement and deliver practical items that bring comfort and care, both to those who serve and to the people they help in times of crisis. These are the men and women who show up in our community’s hardest moments, and this outreach is a way to let them know their church family sees them, prays for them, and stands behind them.
Here’s how you can be part of it: bring individually wrapped snacks or treats and small bottles of water or other beverages, and place them in the labeled box in the lobby, near the volunteer board. Every item is a tangible reminder that this community is praying for them.
And of course, the most important gift we can offer is prayer—please keep our first responders’ safety and well-being in your prayers. Thank you for helping us care for those who care for us!
