Water, Wine and Jesus' Glory

John begins the second chapter of his gospel by telling us about the first miracle performed by Jesus; his turning water into wine at a wedding. To introduce his ministry, this would seem to be a strange choice to be his first miracle, but the deeper we look at this story, the more the meaning shines through.
