ue has worked with me for a couple years now on Sundays in Kids Ministry, 1st and 2nd Service, VBS, and she's starting her second year with Good News Club at Coventry Elementary School. She assists me in 1st service almost every Sunday and one Sunday a month in 2nd service.
All I have to do is say, “Hey Sue” and she says, “Yes”. I really have to watch that she does not take on too much because she is that willing to be involved. Sue is faithful and committed to our children and they relate to her because she has a calm disposition. I have seen God work through her during VBS and Good Club.
Last Spring there was a young boy that I could see was understanding things that were taught. He was ‘connecting the dots’ about salvation. One week after the story, I knew he was right there, on the edge and ready to take the next step. The following week he asked Sue some questions and she was able to lead him to Christ and pray with him. That is Sue’s heart. One word that would describe her is courage. She does not shy away from making disciples of our young children.
Thank you Sue for all that you do, for your commitment to our children and for going where you are called.
